An Evening of Music featuring Omaha’s own Tim Halperin (2011 American Idol Top 24) will be held Saturday, March 31st at 8:00 pm at Westside High School on 87th & Pacific.
Performing some of the songs from Karen Sokolof Javitch’s new CD: “The Tribute Album-Dedicated to Steve Jobs” will be Mannheim Steamroller’s Chuck Penington with The Maynard Triplets, Camille Metoyer Moten, Bob Goding, and Grace Bydalek .
All money raised at the event will benefit UNMC Eppley Cancer Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research. All tickets are $10 and tickets will go on sale March 1. Tickets can be purchased at the DECA office at Westside High School on 87th and Pacific from 11-1 Monday through Friday. They can be purchased online at JMRProductions.com and they will be available at the door the night of the performance.
An Evening of Music will be taped to be used for later broadcasts. Segments will be schedule to air on television later to raise additional money for Eppley Cancer Center.
