The Eastern Nebraska Veterans’ Home has announced that in honor of Veterans Day, observed on November 11th, a program will be held at 2 p.m. to recognize all who have served. The ceremony will take place in the Main Dining Room.  Governor Pete Ricketts will be the featured speaker with a special musical performance by the USAF Heartland of American Band ensemble Offutt Brass.  Refreshments will be served following the ceremony and the event is open to the public.

Employees will also represent the Veterans’ Home in the Veterans Day “The Defenders of Freedom” Parade held in downtown Bellevue on Saturday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. in honor of Veterans Day!
