General Manager Ryan Hutchison came on in February 2013 and personally hired the rest of the Executive Team, including Josh Houston, Director of Operations; Angie Velardi, Director of Sales & Marketing; Turin Cox, Director of Food & Beverage; and Bernadette Leehy, Human Resource Director. With the changes to the look of the hotel and the new team behind it, Ramada Plaza Omaha is certainly a relevant player in the convention and tourism market—and business is already booming as a direct reflection. While they still feature CoCo Key Water Resort as a wonderful amenity for families and still see many visitors walk through their doors simply for an evening stay, they have worked hard to let the corporate community know that they offer a sophisticated space which is perfect for meetings and events that require accommodations for all types and sizes of businesses and organizations.
