Meet Ernie. He’s the gorgeous, friendly, 3-year-old golden retriever who comes into work each day with the Home Nursing with Heart staff.
At Home Nursing with Heart, the staff strives each day to provide the highest level of medical care to their patients along with educating and empowering patients and families. The company is made up of a strong team of professional, highly skilled nurses who love what they do, and Ernie is no exception. With a huge heart, he comes into work every day with his owners Jim and Julie Laughlin, owners of Home Nursing with Heart, and always looks forward to interacting with the staff and office visitors.
Because the office has nurses coming in and out of the office all the time throughout the work days, Ernie always has someone to play with and keep company. And, as Jim explains, Ernie is very intuitive about interacting with others. Throughout the last couple of years, when someone comes into the office and isn’t having a good day, or if you’re not quite yourself, Ernie will come up to you, put his chin on your knee and wag his tail. It’s undeniable how much he loves to brighten people’s day.
One of Ernie’s highlights is when the mailman, FedEx, or UPS delivery drivers come to visit. He looks forward to greeting them at the door, as he knows they’re great at giving doggy treats and saying “Hi.” Likewise, many of the in-house staff members are parents and when they bring their children in to visit the office Ernie loves being able to play with them.
Also, as Jim says, Ernie makes a great vacuum cleaner at lunchtime in the office. He’s a great housekeeper, as he seems to have a keen eye for any food or treats that fall on the floor.
Home Nursing with Heart takes great pride in delivering the greatest consistency of care and personnel. With a huge heart, Ernie is a part of the nursing family, and will be there for many more years to brighten your day!
