Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (outlooknebraska.org), a nonprofit organization providing employment and other opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired, has hired Lisa Kelly as the new Director of Enrichment Programs. Kelly will oversee the development and implementation of a variety of new programs being offered to individuals in the Omaha area with blindness or limited vision. New services will include free training for older adults on new technology to aid them in overcoming vision loss, enabling valued employees experiencing vision issues to continue in their workplace, and visual technology programs for teens.

Kelly brings a history of program development experience as well as a passion for growing mission-based organizations. A graduate of Harvard University with a Master’s in Public Policy and undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, Kelly previously worked with CHI, Omaha’s Leadership for Life, and Creighton University.

According to Kelly, “Outlook Nebraska has so much to offer the Omaha community. We hope to make the ‘Outlook Nebraska’ name as synonymous with vision support programs as Habitat for Humanity is for housing.”

Kelly is an Ignatian Associate, Best Year Yet Strategic Planner, and enjoys biking to work on the Keystone Trail.
