Ted E. Bear Hollow celebrated its move to a larger location at 7811 Farnam Drive with a ribbon cutting and open house. Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is partnering with Ted E. Bear Hollow—a 10-year-old nonprofit that is the premier resource for grieving children, teens and their families in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area—by offering space at a nominal fee.
Since 2001, Ted E. Bear Hollow has developed ongoing bi-weekly support groups, monthly support groups, additional day camps, teen retreats and training programs for volunteer facilitators, professional educators and counselors. Ted E. Bear Hollow directly served 1,200 children, teens and family members in its programs during 2010.
