On June 6, nearly 320 people gathered at Signature Flight Support to view private jets and luxury automobiles in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha (RMHC). Wings & Wheels, a fundraising event that takes place every other year, raised nearly $87,000 for the organization.
A total of ten luxury automobiles and seven jets were on display. Attendees sampled beer and wine provided by Quality Brands, and vodka and bourbon provided by Patriarch Distillers along with the two signature cocktails they made especially for this event. Food stations, catered by Catering Creations, provided a variety of food inspired by the event’s Great Gatsby theme throughout the evening. The event emcees were Ashley Ritchie and Monty Torres of FOX 42, and acoustic jazz was played by Tunafish Jones.
Special thanks to all of the sponsors who helped make this event possible. Title Sponsors, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians; Presenting Sponsor, Methodist Health System; and, the Media Sponsor, FOX 42 for their generosity and support. Also, thank you to Honorary Chairs: Chris and Cindy Maher. Thanks to Ronald’s Helpers, the Service League for coordinating this year’s event.
