The Peter Kiewit Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Jeffrey B. Kutash as Executive Director.  Kutash joins the foundation with more than 20 years of experience addressing issues in the social sector. He began his career as a public school teacher and most recently held the position of Managing Director at FSG, a nonprofit consulting firm specializing in strategy, evaluation and research to accelerate social impact, where he oversaw the firm’s San Francisco office and national Education & Youth practice.

Kutash has developed strategy for dozens of the country’s leading foundations, and shared his expertise on philanthropic effectiveness through his work, speaking engagements and service on national and community boards. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School.

Kutash will be moving from San Francisco with his wife Jessica, a marketing professional, and their three children. He will assume his position on April 15.

The Peter Kiewit Foundation is a private, independent philanthropic trust created from the estate and vision of the late Peter Kiewit.
