Get your nightie ready, registration for the Pajama Dash, to be held on Saturday, October 4, is now open at www.pajamadash.com. The Pajama Dash, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Sumtur Amphitheater, is a 5K run to support the Papillion Fire Department’s annual Fill the Boot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) campaign. Packet pick-up begins at 4:30 p.m. on Pajama Dash day, October 4. The entrance to the Sumtur Amphitheater is at 108th Street, just South of Papillion South High School.

An after party from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Sumtur Amphitheater, 11691 South 108th Street, will have food and beer and a disk jockey provided by Complete Music. The first beer for runners is free. Additional beer and food will be available.  Funds raised by the Pajama Dash go to the Papillion Professional Firefighters Local 3767 for their Fill the Boot campaign. The International Association of Fire Fighters has partnered with the MDA since 1954. Since then, IAFF firefighters have donated more than $275 million dollars to help find a cure. The MDA is one of the world’s leading non-profit health organizations, funding research, health care and support services covering more than 40 neuromuscular diseases that affect more than 1 million Americans.
