Midlands Community Foundation is pleased to announce that proceeds from the organization’s 2013 Reflection Ball on Jan. 5, 2013, will benefit Ted E. Bear Hollow, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to mend the grieving hearts of kids and their families.

Midlands Community Foundation’s annual Reflection Ball plays an integral part in accomplishing the foundation’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for Sarpy and Cass county residents.  Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded gifts totaling millions of dollars to many worthy non-profit organizations, creating a lasting impact on the communities it serves.

Ted E. Bear Hollow provides free grief support to children, teens and their families following the death of a loved one by offering a safe place, hope and healing.  Services include support groups, day camps, teen retreats, social gatherings and educational programs for the public.

The mission of Midlands Community Foundation is to benefit the diverse needs of the Sarpy and Cass county communities by providing financial support, involvement and service.
