Breakthrough T1D (breakthrought1d.org) is hosting their annual Walk (formerly JDRF One Walk) on Sunday, September 29. Festivities start at 11:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 1 p.m. Walk with over 4,000 people to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Mahoney State Park. The Walk aims to raise awareness for T1D and to fundraise to accelerate T1D research breakthroughs to cure, treat and prevent T1D and its complications.
