The Heart Ministry Center is proud to host their 9th annual Holy Smokes Fundraiser on August 28th at 5 pm. This event will be held at Anthony’s Steakhouse, which is located off of 72nd and I-80 in Omaha. Holy Smokes will feature live music, an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet and an open bar. The mission of the Heart Ministry Center is to provide food, healthcare and a way forward for people severely affected by poverty in the Omaha area. Their programs include a Clothing Closet, Community Garden, Community Outreach events and Volunteer program, Food Pantry, Health and Dental Care, Education Classes, Holiday Meal Baskets & Gifts, Resource Center and Legal Clinic, Group Meetings, Self-Sufficiency and Youth Mentoring programs.
