The Guiding Hands Midwifery staff recently participated as a team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 5th, in partnership with the team from Kirsch Obstetrics.  The entire office participated, including both midwives Lydia Rhodes and Jenda Stauffer, nurse practitioner Terra Vejraska, and medical assistants Jennifer Cooper and Jenn Newell.  This event not only raised money for a great cause, but a great deal of awareness for breast cancer as well, and the staff at Guiding Hands Midwifery were proud to participate in such a worthwhile event in the Omaha community.

At Guiding Hands Midwifery, Jenda Stauffer, CNM and Lydia Rhodes, CNM offer a combined 25+ years of experience in providing full gynecologic and obstetric services.  They specialize in guiding mothers through the normal process of labor and childbirth by being continually present with families and also providing one-on-one support.  Guiding Hands Midwifery is also proud to be the first midwifery service within Bergan Mercy Hospital.  For more information about Guiding Hands Midwifery, located at 11623 Arbor Street, #101, call (402) 884-7533, visit www.guidinghandsmidwife.com, or find them on Facebook.
