Holmes Murphy & Associates has acquired the Omaha, Nebraska-based operations of Willis of Minnesota, Inc. (d/b/a Willis of Nebraska). The transaction, which closed effective February 28, 2015, includes one retail insurance brokerage office which services the risk management and insurance services needs of college-based student organizations primarily consisting of Greek letter organizations. The office sold in connection with the transaction places various lines of insurance coverages for these organizations, including general liability, property, Directors’ & Officers’, crime & fidelity, and member accident protection insurance.
The office, which will report to Daniel T. Keough, chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy, designs property and casualty insurance programs to insure the operations of college-based student organizations, honor societies, leadership councils and alumni associations.
