How long have you been in the Omaha area?
We opened a local Omaha office in February 2011, but have been serving the Nebraska and Omaha area for six years.
Who are the owners/important executives?
Owners are Ryan Stara and Scott Stara, Eric Meysenburg is the Art Director, Travis Albracht is the Lead Installer and Jacque Theile is the National Project Coordinator.
What do you think makes you different from other companies similar to yours?
Quality. We try very hard to put out the very best product we can. We are constantly training our staff and we are the only local company to have our industry’s highest certifications. We also work with major manufacturers to Beta test their products and provide feedback for better quality products in the future.
What do you like about doing business in the Omaha area?
Omaha companies understand the value of using their existing fleets for cost effective advertising. Many Midwestern cities have not recognized the value as quickly as the east and west coast has in the past.
What kind of community organizations/groups are you involved with?
Omaha Chamber, UASG and PDAA.
Do you have a business philosophy or mission statement?
Not a true mission statement, but more of a personal philosophy: the only way to approach life and business is with a positive outlook, integrity and hard work. The rest will sort itself out.
What changes have you seen in the industry and your company in the past few years?
We have seen a huge increase in architectural wraps (wall murals and building exteriors) and art reproduction. We can wrap brick buildings and even cement sidewalks.
What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
Expanding the Lincoln and Omaha offices by an additional 15,000 sq ft to handle our increasing local and national volume.
What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
Competition from smaller less qualified companies producing poor quality wraps. This looks bad for the industry and drives the prices down. Many of these smaller companies don’t last long due to the sheer cost of this industry and leaves the consumer with nowhere to turn when they have a problem.
What has been your most important achievement as a business?
Having clients that are satisfied with our product and recommending us to other business owners. We do not have a sales staff and almost 75% of the work we do is referral based.
What was the biggest turning point in your business?
Successfully completing a huge national wrap campaign for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This has given us national exposure and a step to the next level.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about your business that most people don’t know?
Everyone thinks we are a franchise. We are definitely not. We are a local family owned Nebraska business. We are very proud to have started this out of a need for the product ourselves.
What is one goal for your business that you have yet to accomplish?
We would like to do some work overseas. We have worked in every state and Puerto Rico but would love the chance to do some work in Europe.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
We have wrapped 2822 vehicles to date! Check us out on our website at www.revolutionwraps.com.
