Ray Ostronic was employed at Enron as a Business Development Analyst when he and his brother Rick decided to purchase Granulawn, which happened to be a tax client of his brother’s. They started with just the turf fertilization business and with their business and finance backgrounds were able to diversify the company over the years into one of the largest ‘total care’ lawncare companies in the metro area. Granulawn was established in 1979 and offers a ‘total care’ approach to lawncare, landscape, irrigation, complete tree/shrub care and commercial grounds maintenance. Granulawn provides services to approximately 3,500 residential/commercial clients in the Omaha metro area.
