Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) invites the community to participate in the Help Hope Hoodies Clothing Drive by gathering gently used sweatshirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and leggings in all sizes. Donations of needed items such as coffee, over-the-counter medication, and warm blankets are also in demand at this time. A full list of needed items can be found on the Stephen Center website at stephencenter.org. Items will be distributed to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness.

“Families and individuals in crisis often don’t have the means to purchase appropriate clothing when the weather changes,” Executive Director Michael Wehling said. “Thanks to the generosity of the community, Stephen Center makes sure everyone is warm, comfortable, and safe no matter the season.”

Clothing and other needed items can be dropped off at Stephen Center’s Donation Dock, located on the south side of the building at 2723 Q St. in Omaha. The dock is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Items for the Help Hope Hoodies Drive can also be purchased and shipped directly from Amazon by using Stephen Center’s AmazonSmile WishList at stephencenter.org/donation-center.
