Youth Emergency Services Welcomes Megan Belcher to Board of Directors

Youth Emergency Services (YES; yesomaha.org), the only nonprofit in Omaha with the sole mission to help homeless and near-homeless youth, is excited to announce the addition of Megan Belcher to its Board of Directors.

Belcher brings with her 20 years of multi-faceted corporate and community leadership experience, as well as deep nonprofit leadership, corporate governance, communications, human resources, and legal expertise to create opportunity for YES, its clients, and stakeholders. She graduated from the University of Missouri and Boston College Law School, and holds a certificate in Human Resources Management and is a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow. Belcher currently works for Scoular, a world-wide agricultural company based in Omaha, where she is the chief legal and external affairs officer. She also serves on Scoular’s Board of Directors, as a trustee for The Scoular Foundation, and founded their first Employee Resource Group, Scoular Women Influencing Culture. Belcher serves on other Omaha and nationally focused nonprofit boards and is committed to the diverse, pro-bono work she engages in to support under underserved populations.

Youth Emergency Services envisions a community where youth homelessness no longer exists. Last year YES provided support and services to more than 1,100 youth in the Omaha metro area. They offer a full continuum of care to ensure all youth receive the support they need, no matter their situation. For more information, visit yesomaha.org.
