Bob Mancuso, Jr. was presented the 2014 Business Leadership Award at the Omaha Agri Business Annual Banquet on March 24th.  This award is presented to an individual who has made exceptional contributions to agriculture, promoted agriculture or agribusiness within the local and larger community, and made efforts to increase public understanding or appreciation for agriculture.  Mancuso’s nomination was submitted by board member Jackie Boryca, and the Club will donate $1,000 to the charity of Bob’s choice.

Mancuso is the Director of Exhibits for Mid-America Expositions, Inc.  Mid-America Expositions, Inc. held the 48th Annual Triumph of Agriculture Exposition in March 2014 at the Centurylink Center Omaha, which offers farmers and ranchers the latest agriculture innovations, equipment and supplies.  This event offers farmers and ranchers the opportunity to see and compare information before making those important farming decisions.  Furthermore, this event not only highlights the importance of agriculture but brings families into the metro area and increases revenue for local businesses.  It is a good opportunity for local metro area residents to see the importance that the agriculture industry plays in the metro area economy.
