Ramada Plaza Omaha is pleased to introduce their newest additions to hotel management: Ryan Hutchison, General Manager, and Angie Velardi, Director of Sales and Marketing. The property recently took on a multimillion-dollar renovation earlier this year. Key management changes will be evident to both business travelers and weekend “staycationers.” They will enjoy the beautiful facility upgrades and the excitement of event marketing and community involvement that Hutchison and Velardi are implementing.
Hutchison hails from Ames, Iowa where he left Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa to make the move to Omaha. He graduated from Iowa State with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, in addition to his Management Associate’s degree from Des Moines Area Community College.
Velardi brings fifteen years of experience in hospitality management to the Ramada Plaza Omaha, of which eleven come from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Her expertise and enthusiasm will enhance the sales team to help highlight the features of the hotel to everything from conventions, weddings and the overnight guest stay.
Ramada Plaza Omaha is located at 3321 S. 72nd street. It features 363 rooms with a variety of guest suites, along with Bluestem Lounge and The Claim House Eatery. Coco Key Water Resort is located on site, branding this hotel unique to Omaha travelers.
