Millard Business Association Elects New Executive Board for 2020

The Millard Business Association (MBA; millardbusinessassociation.org) recently announced their executive board of members and members elect for 2020: Jill Schoenherr, president; John Drazic, president elect; Todd Baumbach, past president; Jennifer Toft, vice president; Roxy Starkey, treasurer; and Paula Wilcher, secretary.

Jill Schoenherr, executive director at Southwest YMCA and owner of Wild Daisy Bridal, has been an active member of the MBA for many years. She has previously served as treasure on the executive board, along with being a member of the Golf Committee and the silent auction chair for the Annual Gala Committee.

John Drazic has been appointed as president elect. His skills in strategy implementation, operations management, coaching, sales, and conflict resolution have been a great asset to the MBA. John currently leads the WIRED referral group.

MBA’s past president, Todd Baumbach, has done amazing things for the association. He is actively involved in every facet of the MBA, including overseeing the growth of the Millard Business Young Professionals (MBYP) which just launched in the past year. Todd has served as the regional vice president for Primerica for over 26 years.

Jennifer Toft, sales account executive at Lamar Advertising, will continue to enrich the MBA through her role as vice president. Jennifer is very active in the association and the Millard community as a whole. Jennifer serves as one of MBA’s membership chairs, and she is on the committees for ambassadors, Ribstock, the Annual Gala, and Millard Days.

Roxy Starkey has served as treasurer for the MBA since January of 2019, and she looks forward to another year of helping the association manage budgets and donations. Roxy has been working in the accounting field for over 15 years and currently own Books By Roxy, LLC. Her love for helping many local charities, including Project Wee Care, FITGirl Inc, and Taysia Blue Husky and Malamute Rescue, earned her recognition as the Millard Business Association’s 2018 Citizen of the year.

Paula Wilcher, director of marketing and business development at Xcel Roofing, is a motivated and passionate individual. She is excited to bring this energy to the MBA’s executive board.
