MICAH House Appoints Ashley Flater to Interim Executive Director
Following the news that Executive Director Jaymes Sime was selected as the next president/CEO of Child Saving Institute, MICAH House (www.themicahhouse.org) has appointed current Director of Donor Relations Ashley Flater as the interim executive director. Flater will be promoted to associate director and serve as acting executive director until the formal search is launched. She joined the MICAH House team in 2018 and has been an integral part of the organization’s growth. Flater, a Woodbine, IA native, has spent the last eight years working for agencies serving those experiencing the crisis of homelessness.
Founded in 1986, MICAH House is an emergency homeless shelter that serves single women and families in the Omaha-Metro area and Southwest Iowa.
