Kathleen Schmidt started practicing in Omaha after receiving her juris doctorate in 1987 from Creighton University School of Law. She has been a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Omaha Bar Association since 1987. Schmidt is admitted to practice before the Nebraska State and Federal Courts and the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Washington, D.C. She has successfully argued cases before the Nebraska Court of Appeals and the Nebraska Supreme Court.
In addition to representing adults and children in all matters of family law for over 27 years, Schmidt is the Adjunct Family Law Professor at Creighton University School of Law.
