Heartland Family Service (www.HeartlandFamilyService.org) is excited to announce that the position of diversity officer, currently held by Ashlei Spivey, was added to the leadership team, underscoring the agency’s strategic plan to implement a trauma-informed culture throughout the organization. The diversity officer reports directly to President and CEO John Jeanetta.
Other members of the leadership team are Clinical Director Kerry Wiles, Chief Financial Officer Kristine Hull, Chief Development Officer Donna Dostal, Chief Strategy Officer Greg Ryan, Vice President of Child and Family Programs Barry DeJong and Vice President of Counseling and Prevention Mary O’Neill, and Vice President of Housing and Financial Stability Joanie Poore.
Heartland Family Service, founded in Omaha in 1875, is a non-profit, non-sectarian social work agency. Each year the agency’s 50 programs serve over 50,000 individuals of all ages – from infants in the Family Works program to seniors in the Senior Center – from more than 15 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
