Brian Kruse is the new executive director at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Cemetery and Mausoleum. He returns to the funeral services industry, where he was a funeral director for more than a decade and actively involved in the community. Kruse has been the Douglas County election commissioner for 10 years.
“As executive director at Forest Lawn, I am able to continue my commitment of service to families and build the strong community connections that Forest Lawn has been known for throughout its history,” Kruse said.
Kruse holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Wayne State College. He replaces Steve Brunken, who is retiring after 10 years at Forest Lawn and 40 years in the funeral services industry. For additional information, please contact Angela Erickson at (402) 451-1000 or aerickson@forestlawnomaha.com.
