Wear Yellow Nebraska’s Ride, Fun Run & Walk Still on for August 15

Wear Yellow Nebraska (wearyellownebraska.org) will still be hosting their 17th annual Wear Yellow Ride, Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, August 15 (previously slated for May 9), at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland. Registration is available online until midnight on August 10 and the t-shirt cutoff is August 1 at 5 p.m. Each registration provides two rides to a fellow Nebraskan in the fight against cancer who does not have adequate transportation to and from their treatments. Additionally, there will be a variety of events taking place after the event.

There will be a variety of routes for participants to take. For those craving roads, there will be 25-, 35-, 45-, and 55-mile options. For those who like less formal roads, there will be a 27-mile beginners gravel option as well as a 56-mile experienced gravel riders route. Those on two legs can participate in the approximate 5K run and walk through beautiful Mahoney State Park.
