On May 3 at TD Ameritrade Park, during the Seton Hall vs Creighton Men’s Baseball game, the Veterans in Business Forum presents Salute Our Military Community and First Responders Event.
The goal is to fill the stadium with Active Duty, Veterans, First Responders, Citizens and Baseball Fans to come together as a community and show the men and women who defend our freedom and the first ones to respond to emergencies how much the Omaha community appreciates what they do each and every day. By filling the stadium TD Ameritrade Park will set a Guinness Book of Records for a regular season college baseball game not played at a Major League Park.
Prior to the game there will be a gathering and private dinner for the Families of the Fallen, which is provided free of cost to those in attendance through donations. Pre-game activities include a Families of the Fallen Honor and Remember Walk, fly-over, paratroop drop, presentation of the colors on horseback by Victory Riding Academy, display of a 60’ x 30’ U S Flag by Benson ROTC, National Anthem by SMST Jimmy Weber, retired. Post-Game activities will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice followed by a huge fireworks display.
