Max I. Walker will debut several exciting changes when it hosts the 8th annual Ultra Chic Boutique on February 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Omaha Ballroom of the Ramada Plaza Hotel & Convention Center and CoCo Key Water Resort on 72nd and Grover Streets. Changes include dropping the word ‘Prom’ from its former name as there are many more types of dresses that are now available. Also new this year is The Dress Flip. Local fashion designers are invited to take several Boutique dresses and “Flip” them into something new. The dresses will be showcased at the Ultra Chic Boutique by models and the winning designer will be awarded $500 and recognized at the event.
Over the past seven years, Max I. Walker’s Ultra Chic Boutique has raised almost $73,000 for the Open Door Mission’s Lydia House. Each dress for sale has been cleaned, pressed and mended at no cost by Max I. Walker’s dedicated and hardworking employees. Each dress will be sold for $25, cash only. The event will also feature local vendors including Palm Beach Tan, Gentleman’s Choice, Paparazzi Jewelry, Jamberry Nails and more!
