Through humorous anecdotes and inspirational life lessons about overcoming adversity to his storied career in television and entertainment, groups of all ages can learn from Henry’s speeches. His passion for supporting others is the result of a lifetime struggle with undiagnosed dyslexia. Henry has worked tirelessly to bring awareness and support to children who learn differently by advocating for changes in the education system and informing parents and teachers about learning challenges.
Henry Winkler has celebrated over 50 years of success in Hollywood and continues to be in demand not only as an actor, producer, and director but as a best-selling author. His autobiography, BEING HENRY…The Fonz and Beyond, was published in October 2023. It was on the New York Times bestseller list for 11 weeks and was a Good Reads Award winner for Best Humor book.
“An Evening with Henry Winkler” will be held on Thursday, August 7 at the Scott Conference Center beginning with a 6PM social hour. The voice of the Kansas City Chiefs, Mitch Holthus, will serve as the emcee for the event.
Funds raised at this event will benefit the Nebraska Childhood Brain Tumor Program in Omaha, Nebraska. This program was developed by funding from the Team Jack Foundation which was matched by the State of Nebraska.
