Stephen Center’s Outreach program is seeking community support to help those experiencing homelessness stay safe and healthy during the coming months. As the summer begins, individuals living on the streets face heightened risks including dehydration, sunburn, and insect exposure. Looking toward the future, they ask for help in collecting bottled water, sunscreen, and bug spray for individuals in need.
For those wanting to help, donations can be dropped off at the South Side Donation Dock at 2723 Q Street during the donation center’s open hours. The Donation Center is open Tuesday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5p.m., and Saturday – Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Closed Mondays)
Your participation ensures essential summer supplies reach those who need them most. Donation collection is ongoing during the summer months.
