Save the Next Girl: Nebraska (savethenextgirl.org/Nebraska) will be hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Night on Thursday, April 13 at the Waterford Building – Fountain Ridge Office Park East in Elkhorn. There will be a panel and Q&A portion of the evening featuring Julie Shrader from Rejuvenating Women, Peter Rutherford from Technical Crimes Unit and an Omaha mother of a human trafficking survivor. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with the event to begin at 6:30 p.m. This event is free to the public but limited spots are available.
In addition, multiple fitness studios around Omaha will be participating in the Workout Event Fundraiser on Saturday, April 15. Registration is $100 which includes a workout class and a swag bag.
