The Millard Business Association is honoring local businesses, presenting scholarships to Millard area high school seniors and inducting individuals into the Millard Hall of Fame with an inspiring awards gala on Thursday, April 24 at the Georgetowne Club. The reception and silent auction will start at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner and awards ceremony at 6:45p.m. The evening’s emcee and entertainer will be Michael Lyon, who enjoys his reputation of being an outstanding and versatile performer. The event theme is “Roaring 20’s”.
The Gala includes a silent auction and cocktail reception, dinner, Business Awards ceremony, scholarship presentation, induction of Bank of Millard and the Millard Lions into the MBA Hall of Fame for 2014, and the MBA Landmark Award will be presented to Midwest Laboratories.
This event is hosted by the Millard Business Association and the Millard Business Community Foundation. The Millard Business Association promotes, preserves, and enhances Millard area commerce while providing and supporting community programs. The Millard Business Community Foundation’s purpose is to provide support and service for worthwhile endeavors in the Millard and greater Omaha areas. The organizations work together to reach out to young adults and families in the community.
