Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters Club Celebrating 10 Years

The Sarpy County Chamber Toastmasters (sarpy.toastmastersclubs.org) is proud to be observing its 10th anniversary. A Celebration Open House was held during a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, September 21 at 8:00 a.m. Chartered in July of 2006 and located in District 24, the club has been dedicated to helping people become better leaders and confident public speakers.

The public is welcome to visit any Sarpy County Chamber Toastmasters meeting on the 1st or 3rd Wednesday of each month from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Meetings are held at the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce offices in Papillion, Nebraska. For 10 years, the Sarpy County Chamber Toastmasters club has provided a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to overcome their fear of public speaking and sharpen presentation skills. Other benefits include the opportunity to increase one’s confidence, build critical thinking skills and become an effective listener. Several members have achieved advanced communication and leadership recognition from Toastmasters International for their efforts in the club.
