Volunteer Groups Needed to Serve Dinner for Families at Ronald McDonald House

Since opening its doors 21 years ago, the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha (RMHC) is to keep families close when it matters the most.  RMHC is a ‘home away from home’ for families who travel to Omaha for their child to receive medical treatment.

One way this homelike environment is created is by inviting groups of volunteers to plan meals, purchase ingredients and cook for families at RMHC.

There are upcoming dates still available.  To see a calendar of dates, detailed information and policies, please go to the Provide a Meal tab under the Get Involved section on www.rmhcomaha.org.

Churches, co-workers, neighbors, families, community service groups, college student organizations are welcome.  All volunteers should be healthy.   Groups should not exceed eight members.

To sign up your group and confirm your date, please call Mackenzie Hawkins, Volunteer Manager, at (402) 346-9377.

Ronald McDonald House is located at 620 South 38th Avenue, one block north of Leavenworth Street.
