Open Door Mission Presents Project Santa
The Open Door Mission’s (www.opendoormission.org) Project Santa, taking place December 4 – 22, provides toys to needy boys and girls so that everyone will have gifts on Christmas morning. This year, the Mission is empowering parents by giving them a chance to choose a toy their child will love during their Toy & Joy Shop, located at Open Door Mission (2828 N. 23rd St. E).
As enhancements to their gift-giving process ensue, Open Door Mission needs volunteers now more than ever. Volunteers can be personal shoppers or attendants. Signing up is easy on the Open Door Mission website! The Open Door Mission is also in search of people to host Project Santa Toy Drives to collect toys for all ages, including teens. You can personalize and print posters for your drive right from the Open Door Mission website.
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission that meets the needs of individuals and families while inspiring hope for lasting change. Each day, Open Door Mission’s campus offers 816 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 2,100 hot, nutritious meals, and provides preventative measures to more than 1,082 people living in poverty.
