The Omaha Home for Boys proudly announces the appointment of community and business leaders Ira Combs, Brad Yoder, Earl Redrick and Allen Staub to the 2014 Board of Directors.

Ira Combs is the Community Liaison Nurse Coordinator-North for the University of Nebraska Medical Center, serving since 2002. He holds degrees from Grace College of the Bible, Iowa Western Community College, Creighton University, Metropolitan Community College and Trinity University. In 2013, Combs was awarded the White House “Champion of Change” award, Health and Prevention, by President Obama, and this year, was chosen by Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert to sit on the new Citizens Review Board, representing the Northwest precinct. Combs was also recently honored by the Great Plains Black History Museum as one of eight recipients of the 2014 African-American Leadership Award.

Brad Yoder is a CPA with 13 years of accounting experience in both private and public accounting. Yoder served in the Marine Corps for six years in the reserves and holds a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Yoder is active in many local nonprofit organizations, including the Hope Center, the Boy Scouts and UNO Alumni.

A native of Texas, Earl Redrick currently works for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he has been employed since 2002. He is currently the Field Office Director for HUD’s Omaha office. Redrick holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration from Dallas Baptist University and is a 21-year retired Army veteran, having served abroad on five different tours and deployments. He has previously been active in many nonprofit and volunteering capacities, including current volunteering as a mentor with Partnership 4 Kids in the Omaha area.

Allen Staub currently serves the community as a seven-year veteran with the Omaha Police Department. He is a graduate of Bellevue University where he majored in Global Business Management. He also has a Master’s Degree in Emergency Disaster Management from American Military University. Staub has held several elected seats within academia, career and the community.
