Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty (omabop.org) will celebrate its 3rd Quarter Graduation on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mike and Josie Harper Center, Hixson-Lied Auditorium (2nd Floor), on the Creighton University campus. This event marks a major milestone, surpassing 2,000 graduates since the organization’s founding in 2016.

While this number reflects how many community members have experienced poverty, Bridges focuses on celebrating the determination of each graduate who has taken steps to build a stable, thriving future.

“Every graduate represents a story of resilience and change,” said Marcus Bell, CEO. “We’re proud of every individual who has chosen to rewrite their story.”

Over the last nine years, Bridges has partnered with more than 250 local organizations to provide free, evidence-based programs. Among graduates, average annual income has increased by over $18,000, and the average debt-to-income ratio has decreased by 50%, signaling measurable impact and long-term momentum.

The public is invited to attend and celebrate this important milestone.

Omaha Bridges’ mission is to empower under-resourced families to change their lives by discovering and overcoming barriers to success.
