Nonprofit Association of the Midlands Offers 2019 Salary & Benefits Survey Report

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM; www.nonprofitam.org) is pleased to offer the 2019 Salary & Benefits Survey Report. Considering people are the strongest asset of nonprofits, NAM’s goal is to support the regional nonprofit community and their key assets by providing custom, localized, and actionable data on Salary & Benefits trends in the community.

This annual survey and report are designed to reflect the unique landscape in which nonprofits operate. The report has been generated each year since 2007 as a way to build public trust, accountability and effective management of nonprofits in the corporate sector.

The hope is that these results will help support nonprofit organizations in attracting and retaining top talent. The report answers the following questions:

  • HOW do I know what are the average salary increases?
  • WHO offers health insurance and what is the average employer/employee share?
  • WHAT are the changes and trends in employee benefits?
  • HOW do other nonprofit organizations determine bonuses?

The 2019 Nonprofit Salary & Benefit Trends Report, sponsored this year by the Harry A. Koch Company, provides an overview of the trends shaping nonprofit salaries and benefits. The report, which utilized 2018 data collected from nonprofits in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, is a tool to help nonprofit organizations promote transparency, understand trends, and better manage resources.
