Nebraska Business Development Center Honors Scout Dry Goods & Trade, Dyna-Tech Aviation Services, 21 Delta Engineers, MultiMech Research & Development, Overhead Door Corporation’s Grand Island Facility, and Signs & Shapes International, Inc.

NBDC is pleased to announce the presented the following awards at a function at the Nebraska State Capitol on March 15th:

Recognized during the program were the recipients of NBDC 2011 programmatic awards. These included Scout Dry Goods & Trade, Champion of Small Business; Dyna-Tech Aviation Services of Omaha, NBDC Government Contractor of the Year; Signs and Shapes International, Inc., of Omaha, NBDC Sustainability Business of the Year; Overhead Door Corporation of Grand Island, NBDC Manufacturer of the Year; 21 Delta Engineers of Omaha, NBDC Veteran Owned Business of the Year; and MultiMech Research and Development, LLC, of Lincoln, NBDC Technology Business of the Year.

NBDC also celebrated its 35th anniversary at the event. In 2011 NBDC served 2,960 small business clients in 216 Nebraska communities, according to Robert Bernier, state director. He stated that the clients served created 2,700 jobs and had $324,851,754 in economic development impact in Nebraska.
