NAM Partners with Young Nonprofit Professionals of Greater Omaha

Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) (nonprofitam.org) is excited to announce its partnership with the Young Nonprofit Professionals of Greater Omaha (ynpnGO). This partnership allows members of ynpnGO to be members of NAM and have full membership benefits, such as the membership rate for all training; access to the NAM career center, including free job postings; and access to member-only networking groups and events.

NAM has the same partnership with Young Nonprofit Professionals of Lincoln (ynpnLNK). These partnerships provide opportunities to collaborate with young professionals and increase their engagement and involvement in the non-profit community. Non-profit collaboration is important to the nonprofit sector and the community as a whole. The more non-profit organizations can work together, the more people benefit.

NAM helps non-profits serve their communities. There are thousands of non-profits in the area, each trying to make a difference on their own. NAM brings them together so that each member can benefit from the organization’s collective strength of the more than 500 non-profit organizations throughout Nebraska and western Iowa. It is the only membership organization in the state dedicated exclusively to working with non-profits in the Midlands region. By connecting organizations with information, education, advocacy, and collaboration, NAM helps members focus their energy on the people and communities they serve.
