Midlands Community Foundation to Host 38th Annual Golf Tournament

Midlands Community Foundation (www.MidlandsCommunity.org) will host its 38th annual golf tournament at Platteview Golf Club on Monday, May 20, with a shotgun start at 12 p.m., noon. The event will conclude with a steak dinner and awards ceremony following golf.

Proceeds for the tournament will benefit the Papillion-LaVista Community Theatre (Kids Music Clinic), Monarch Band Boosters Association (student performances at senior centers), Conestoga Elementary School (equipment for outdoor classroom) and the Summer Reading Programs at libraries in Sarpy County (Bellevue, Gretna, LaVista, Papillion and Springfield) and Cass County (Elmwood, Louisville, Plattsmouth and Weeping Water).

Sponsorship opportunities are available. The $135 participant registration fee includes golf, sack lunch, two chances to win a $250 Scheels gift card in a putting contest, two mulligans, two complimentary beverages, ice cream, and steak dinner.
