Kids Can is looking for mentors to participate in our mentoring program! Mentors are dedicated volunteers who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. They are from all walks of life including college students, working adults, and retired grandparents. Mentors can help youth ages 7-13 with school or social issues, help kids achieve better grades, and avoid risky behaviors.
Matches meet once a week at Kids Can, 4860 Q Street. All mentors receive training and ongoing support from Kids Can staff. The year-long mentor relationship provides a caring, stable influence in a kid’s life.
To learn more about the Kids Can mentoring program, or to volunteer, call Jessica Shadduck at (402) 731-6988 or email jshadduck@kidscanomaha.org.
