Keep Nebraska Beautiful (KNB)(knb.org), a Nebraska nonprofit dedicated to enhancing, preserving, and beautifying Nebraska, hosted its inaugural KNB Trivia Night Fundraiser, a high-energy evening of community engagement, friendly competition and environmental impact on Earth Day, April 22, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Johnny’s Café in Omaha, Nebraska. It was a smashing success!
The fundraiser raised over $9,800 and had multiple teams competing in friendly competition for a great cause. The night was full of cheering and heated debate over correct answers to trivia questions while players snacked on Johnny’s Cafe’s appetizers and bid on exciting silent auction prizes in-between rounds. Teams played seven rounds of trivia with an emphasis on Earth Day related categories until Trivia Host, Kahm Broham, determined winners for first place, second place, and a third place with a bonus prize for the last place team.
Proceeds from the event will directly support KNB’s hands-on environmental programs across the state. These programs play a vital role in reducing waste, protecting natural resources, and fostering community pride in both rural and urban areas.
