JDRF Presents TypeOneNation Summit, a T1D Educational Experience

JDRF (jdrf.org/nebraska) is excited to host their free, informational TypeOneNation Summit on Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St. The summit is intended to educate people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and their loved ones about new research and lifestyle changes that can prove effective in managing T1D. The summit is for people of all ages and stages with T1D and their families and friends. The event is offered at no cost to attendees, but registration is required. Online registration opens Monday, March 9.

The event offers a keynote speaker sharing JDRF research updates and progress, the opportunity to connect with others in the T1D community, and breakout sessions discussing information to help navigate life with T1D. Breakout topics include nutrition and exercise with T1D, tools to manage diabetes burnout and distress, off-to-college panel, what teens want their parents to know, and much more.
