Imagine Our Youth Raises Over $175K for Omaha Home for Boys

Over 525 individuals showed their support for Omaha Home for Boys on Friday, September 29 at the Imagine Our Youth Fundraising Celebration. The event, held at Embassy Suites Conference Center in La Vista, raised over $175,000.

The evening of inspiration and action in support of Omaha Home for Boys kicked off with a VIP Reception where keynote speaker Ice-T mingled with guests. A silent auction followed that featured a number of unique packages including a New York City Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree and a Bruce Springsteen autographed guitar. The evening continued with dinner and a program emceed by Jennifer Griswold of KMTV 3 News Now. Former Omaha Home for Boys’ resident, Jeff Landholt, captivated the audience when he shared his inspiring story of how the Home positively impacted his life as a teen and helped shape his future. A culmination of the evening’s events came when keynote speaker Ice-T gave a riveting account of how he overcame many obstacles to become a successful rapper, actor, author and cultural icon.

Imagine Our Youth event chairs were Tom and Aileen Warren and honorary chairs were Darren and Tammy Carlson. Quantum Financial Partners, LLC was the $25,000 Speaker Sponsor and Warren Distribution served as the $15,000 Diamond Sponsor.

Funds raised at Imagine Our Youth will help support the more than 300 at-risk youth whose lives are changed and saved by Omaha Home for Boys every year.
