Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) is pleased to announce the opening of The HETRA Tack Shack! The grand opening was recently held on November 29, which coincided with Small Business Saturday. Additionally, HETRA now offers Open Arena times for members of the community who own a horse and would like to ride in a heated indoor arena during the winter months.
The Tack Boutique features used tack, grooming items, blankets, western and English wear including show clothing and horse related items. The Tack Shack is open by appointment, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and on selected weekends, which will be announced via the website, social media and emails. Weekday appointments can be scheduled by calling the office.
HETRA is accepting donated and consignment items for the Tack Shack. If you are interested in donating or consigning an item please contact us at (402) 359-8830 or Cassie@HETRA.org. All proceeds from the Tack Shack will support HETRA’s student and horse sponsorship programs.
Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy’s mission is to improve the quality of life both physically and emotionally of adults and children with disabilities through equine assisted activities.
