Heartland Hope Mission Seeks Community Support to Replace Delivery Truck

Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) needs your help to repair their truck and get it on the road again! Five days a week, Heartland Hope Mission picks up food from local retailers like Hy-Vee, Wal-Mart, Target, and Baker’s. They then distribute it to local families in need. Recently, the truck’s engine went out, and they need to get it back on the road to effectively serve working poor families. “The need for our truck is real. With over 16 pickups every day, relying on a van is strenuous and means lots of extra trips and time,” said Patrick, pantry coordinator.

A generous donor has stepped up with a $10,000 matching grant! That means every dollar you donate will be matched up to $10,000. Heartland Hope Mission would greatly appreciate your consideration of a one-time generous gift to help with truck repairs. Their goal is to raise $20,000. Your donation will help them pick up over 900,000 pounds of food this year! 100% of the funds raised will go directly toward the mission’s truck expenses.

Every donation of any amount is important so Heartland Hope Mission can meet their goal. Donations can be made online at HeartlandHopeMission.org! Keep up with the mission on Facebook (@HeartlandHopeMission). Heartland Hope Mission is located in Omaha at 2021 U St. Questions can be answered via their phone at (402) 733-1904.
