May is Vision Health Month, and Outlook Enrichment (outlooken.org) is dedicated to empowering Omaha’s blind and low-vision community through education and activities to help them achieve their goals. Join in to empower blind and low-vision individuals through playing golf in Outlook Enrichment’s 21st Annual Tee it Up Fore Sight golf tournament on June 4 at Tiburon Golf Club. With every swing, you’ll be helping individuals with vision loss gain the skills, tools and confidence they need to thrive. Register today at https://www. outlooken.org/event/21st-annual-tee-it-up-fore- sight/.
Leading up to the golf tourney, visually impaired golfers have also benefited from Outlook Enrichment’s Stanley M. Truhlsen Jr. Blind Golfer Clinic—an opportunity for those with limited vision to practice their swing using a golf simulator before heading out to the greens.
Beyond the tournament, Outlook Enrichment offers a wide range of programs that help individuals with blindness or low vision live independently, confidently participate in their communities and continue doing what they love.
