Endless Journey Hospice Presents Night of Endless Stars Gala

Endless Journey Hospice (endlessjourneyhospice.com) is excited to host their inaugural Night of Endless Stars Gala on December 6 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in La Vista. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the program will run until 11:30 p.m. The emcee of the event will be John Oakey, news anchor at KETV. He will take guests through the night’s agenda, which includes dinner, a keynote speaker, and a live auction conducted by Auctioneer Mike Bunach with Good Bid-Ness Company and Cross Electronic Recycling.

During the banquet, attendees will hear from Kimberly Paul. For the past 17 years, Kimberly has been radically changing the way people face end of life. After graduating from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC she began working on the set of Saturday Night Live, casting for CBS daytime programming, and freelancing for several production companies in New York City. While working in the entertainment industry, Kimberly was captivated by the creative process of developing the arc of the story. She went on to become vice president of outreach and communications for Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC, where she created a myriad of award-winning marketing strategies to share real stories of how hospice patients and their loved ones face the end of life journey. Kimberly’s enthusiasm and passion to positively educate those on how to plan for end of life are evident as she shares her stories through speaking engagements, her writings, videos and film. As of 2017, Kimberly is now investing 100% of her time to bring innovation to the death and dying industry by applying the concept of design thinking.

The goal of the Night of Endless Stars Gala is to raise enough funds to start the construction of the Endless Journey Hospice House and to continue their nonprofit initiative, which includes holistic services such as massage therapy, healing touch, music therapy, reiki, art therapy, aromatherapy, and much more. In addition to the holistic choices, Endless Journey Hospice provides meal services for their clients and a special bereavement meal to each of their families following the death of a loved one. All of this is provided at no cost to patients and families.
