ENCOR Formally Changes Name to Duet, Undergoes Complete Rebrand

ENCOR (duetne.org) announced in February the decision to change their name to Duet, which stands for Develop, Unite, Empower, Together. To officially unveil their new look, Duet hosted a launch party with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce on February 27. Since then, the nonprofit organization has carried out full rebranding efforts, including the launch of a new website (duetne.org).

The name and meaning behind Duet is intended to better capture the heart of their work. Just as a duet of musicians collaborates to create beautiful music greater than the sum of its parts, Duet brings together the diverse people of Eastern Nebraska to create inclusive, thriving communities.

Though their name has changed, Duet will continue to provide the same core services that the community has come to rely on which include residential support, job coaching, day support services, employment opportunities, and providing education and community advocacy to five Nebraska counties.

Duet looks forward to empowering Nebraskan children and adults with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities in this exciting new chapter of their organization. To learn more, go to duetne.org. You can also contact the administrative office at (402) 444-6500.
